Humane Education Conference Coming to NYC

September 21st at New York University, HEART, in partnership with Jane Goodall’s Roots and Shoots and the Institute of Humane Education, is hosting its very first humane education conference.

Educating for a Just, Peaceful & Sustainable Future is a groundbreaking opportunity for teachers, educational administrators, change-makers, humane educators and concerned citizens to discover their role in comprehensive humane education–and lead global change.

Attendees will gain new skills to communicate and teach others about the most important issues of our time, meet and network with people in their field, explore the purpose of education, and witness extraordinary examples of relevant education for our time.

HEART educators are working with kids in classrooms and after-school programs just about every day of the year. We are so excited to share our expertise with you and help you bring humane education to the youth in your life.

In addition to exciting workshops, many of which will be taught by HEART educators, the conference features keynotes from Jane Goodall, Arun Gandhi and Zoe Weil, and a UN International Day of Peace parade.

Check out the conference schedule to see all of the exciting speakers, workshops and special guests. The final spots filled up yesterday so if you want to attend, make sure to put your name on the waiting list as soon as possible.
